That's a wrap! 2024-2025 was a spectacular year fo That's a wrap! 2024-2025 was a spectacular year for the Armstrong Dad's Club, but now it's time to ask what comes next? And the answer is "this guy." Possibly the greatest thing to happen to Armstrong Dad's Club since Jeff Sears put a fan in the Eagle suit...please welcome incoming President Kevin Womack! 

It has been my sincere pleasure to work side by side with Kevin for the past 9 months, and my great fortune to now call him a friend. There is no one more suited for this job than Kevin, and he leaves me in no doubt that my greatest contribution as Dad's Club President will unquestionably be the man I chose to follow me. I consider that a proud legacy indeed!

Congratulations to our winner Steve Hammond, as well as our 2nd and 3rd place finishers Eric Overton and Jimmy Ogden. And VERY special thanks to our Poker Chair Clayton Isom for singlehandedly organizing a spectacular event.

Thanks to all the dads who made it out to Goodwin' Thanks to all the dads who made it out to Goodwin's tonight for our first Dad's Club Happy Hour of 2024-2025. We had an amazing turnout that exceeded all expectations, and it was great to see so many dads who are new to Armstrong this year.

We are just one short week away from the first of We are just one short week away from the first of school, which means the Dad's Club is ready to kick off 2024-2025 with our annual Sno Cone Extravaganza. Make sure and bring your kids by to see us after school next Wednesday where Chase Woodall will be greeting fans and signing sno cone cups until 7:30PM.

We had a great year under Jeff's guidance, enjoying one successful event after another. Our success as an organization is entirely dependent on how engaged our dads choose to be, and the example of Jeff's commitment was instrumental in inspiring widespread participation and delivering a banner year for the Dad's Club.

ARMSTRONG FAMILY DAY OF SERVICE, Saturday, April 9 ARMSTRONG FAMILY DAY OF SERVICE, Saturday, April 9th
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM in the Armstrong Cafeteria! 

HOPE SUPPLY CO. was started by an Armstrong Alum and they provide basic supplies, diapers and Birthday Boxes to those in need. All students and their families will have an opportunity to serve by assembling and decorating birthday boxes in the Armstrong cafeteria that will be delivered to Hope Supply for distribution.  This is a fun and easy way to get your kids to volunteer in the community!

The Armstrong Dads Club serves the children, families, and faculty of John S. Armstrong Elementary through classroom enrichment activities, community engagement, and financial support. The Dads Club is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all of the children in Armstrong while helping dads connect with their kids, connect with other parents, and foster a sense of community within the school and beyond.
